Let me introduce

I am Ope John-Anyaehie – LMHC Counselor from New York.

Ope Famule is a New York State Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I received my BA in Psychology from the College of Staten Island and moved on to pursue my MA in Mental Health Counseling from Long Island University in Brooklyn New York.

I have been working in the social service field for over 15 years. I began my career working with individuals diagnosed with Intellectual disorders as a care coordinator. I have worked in child welfare, providing home and community-based therapeutic services to families at risk of being placed in foster care. I began to focus my attention on working with adolescents and adults diagnosed with Mental Health disorders in a community-based program and in schools, providing therapy to students. Being able to work in diverse systems have allotted me to become self-aware of the marginalized community care regarding Mental Health, which is why I educated myself in all the areas that I have gained significant experiences in to become the founder of Wellness Mental Health Counseling Services and provide affordable and hands on services.
